The first-generation Apple iBook was one of those love-it or hate-it designs--we choose the latter. Featuring translucent colored plastics (Graphite, Tangerine, Blueberry, Indigo, or Key Lime), and a handle built into the hinge, it resembled an overgrown makeup compact.
