The top ten UK singles

Rihanna has held onto the UK Number One spot for the seventh week, despite strong competition from a raft of up-and-coming UK indie stars. Jay-Z's protégé is holding on with 'Umbrella', but she only narrowly beats London singer-songwriter Kate Nash into second place with 'Foundations'. And in an exceptional week for the DIY London scene, Jack Peñate makes his Top Ten debut, entering the chart at Seven with 'Torn On The Platform'. Elsewhere, Coventry's The Enemy continue their charmed assault, scoring a Number Four hit with 'Had Enough', while Arctic Monkeys acolytes Reverend And The Makers move back up into the Top Ten with their debut 'Heavyweight Champion Of The World'.
