In second place, Buena Vista's "Ratatouille", from Pixar Animation Studios, also maintained its momentum, picking up an estimated $9.4 million for the day as its cume hovers around the $90 million mark. ***

Managing to fend off competition from "Transformers," 20th Century Fox's "Live Free or Die Hard" held on to third place with an estimated $5.4 million. ***

Warner Bros. Pictures' "License to Wed", the week's other new wide arrival, had to settle for a fourth place showing with an estimated $3.7 million. ***

Filling out the top five, Universal Pictures' family comedy "Evan Almighty" took in an estimated $2.9 million. ***
